glorious sun, oh how ive missed you!!
so at least the sun was smiling down on me when i dug my car out from what seemed to be 10 feet of snow. holy crap there was a lot of it. i mean, i could obviously tell by looking at it, but it isnt until you have to move it that you realize how much there really was.
our tivo is broken. chris is on the case, he thinks one of the hard drives crapped out. its really depressing to have to watch tv live. no ability to skip through commercials, pause it when the phone rings. woe is me. woe. is. me.

chris has put up a whole bunch of chicago pictures from our new years trip. none from the show, but a bunch of the city and such. at some point i may steal a few and get them up on my site, but for now, youll just have to click here to see them.
the movie was pretty good. phillip seymour hoffman was great, as was hank azaria. who knew he was totally buff? check out the website here.
however, the whole screening thing was super annoying. i can deal with long lines, but stupidity, i cant. they had 2 security checkpoints, one with metal detector wands, and then if you wanted to leave to, say, get popcorn or use the restroom, you had to go through the security checkpoints/long lines again. it was complete and total mayhem at the movies. ok, maybe not so much mayhem and just super-annoying and poorly orchestrated. and my guess is, its probably like that for every advanced screening they do.

on the way to see the new ben stiller/jennifer aniston film, along came polly. hopefully it doesnt suck. we got free passes at the big buck brewery last night. hopefully we get there in enough time, because as we all know, passes are distributed in excess of theater capacity.

im a copy cat. after reading about matt and garys adventures in cheap tunes at media play, i had to stop and at least assess the situation at my local media play. for just under 15 dollars, i ended up with 4 cds and a calendar. not too shabby.
g love and special sauce, s/t 2.49
moby, songs 93-98. 2.49
idaho, levitate, 4.24
foo fighters, limited edition generator import single, 1.49
2004 u2 calendar 3.24
if youre still in need of a 2004 calendar , they're all 75 percent off at media play right now. you cant beat it.
i love deals.
went to a party last night in east lansing. a welcome back party for my sisters old roommate sarah bruce. she was in england for 3 months student teaching and just got back this week. it was a very fun party. but today i am ridiculously, ridiculously tired. and smelly.
east lansing is much cooler than i remembered.
and i wonder, once again, why we dont have an urban outfitters around here.
almost time for alias.
