wayne coyne - crazy singer dude from the flaming lips - was the tonight show's correspondent for the SXSW festival, and he'll be on with leno tomorrow night talking about it i guess.  should be interesting.

in other lips news...yoshimi battles the pink robots is going to be a broadway musical.  if it actually ever happens (we've been waiting for christmas on mars for what feels like decades now) im SO there. 

i think a lot more people would eat oatmeal if they knew it could taste as good as kashi's go lean honey and cinnamon 'instant hot cereal with clusters' .... or oatmeal.  seriously.  i eat this stuff every day for breakfast and sometimes for other meals and snacks.  its awesome.  its a little grainer...heartier than just plain oatmeal....and i love it. i dont know if the carry it at every grocery store, but our walmart supercenter always has it.  you should try it. i wouldnt be blogging about oatmeal unless it was the best thing EVER. (the vanilla flavor isnt as good.  make sure you get honey and cinnamon.)

ive decided that i will not be listening to any more leaked NIN tracks...i dont want the whole album to be ruined for me before it even gets released - i want the experience of listening to it start to finish

that being said, im always for seeing trent....check out the survivalism video...totally reminds me of the lost viewing station

beside you in time - my only complaint is there should be a trent cam available as an alternate angle....all trent all the time...i could give a crap about keyboard player dude...oh, and if you havent, check out the stills in the xtras...some great shots in there

rem will be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame tonight.  i guess they're showing it live on vh1 classic.  unfortunately i dont have vh1 classic, so hopefully itll be re-run on a channel i do have. i love rem. i hope their next album doesn't suck.

its going to be like 70ish here today, and 80 tomorrow and wednesday.  love it!

ive been having issues with my itunes for the last couple months and chris figured out a fix and got everything back in working order for me on sunday.  but...in the process my main hard drive suffered some freak damage, and im basically having to start over computer-wise from scratch. major frustration. hes going to try to recover as much as possible from the old hard drive, but im predicting weeks of swearing, banging my head against the wall, and wanting to throw the thing out the window before things get back to normal.  i had no idea i was so reliant upon my bookmarks and saved passwords. i cant believe im such an ass and dont have any of my important stuff backed up.

anyhow, as much as i hate technology right now, i love it too, because of this taste of NIN live from pink is the new blog.  he's in barcelona, where they played last night...head over for video clips from the show and the entire live performance of survivalism. 

oh, and how good was last weeks episode of lost.  SO GOOD!
