does not make me happy:

i waited in the doctors office for TWO HOURS today for a work physical that took all of 90 seconds to complete.  i was pissed. (in order to earn a living and not have to get a "real job" im going to start substitute teaching again. wish me luck.)

at work somebody stole my monster energy drink from the fridge. who does that? those things are like 3 bucks each.  i was pissed.

makes me happy:

just booked plane tix for my holiday trip home that i originally didnt think was possible.  i get in on christmas morning at 11am and am staying thru friday afternoon.  looks like we'll be hitting up the motor city bowl at ford field on the 26th and then heading to luna for depeche mode video appreciation night after the game.  im thinking there might need to be a wardrobe change somewhere in there.

after working the super-special 2am-10am shift last night/this morning, my already long hour and ten minute drive home was lengthened by another 40 minutes because of this

i mean, driving around it was better than being IN a 50 ft wide, 16 ft deep sinkhole...but just barely.
