after working the super-special 2am-10am shift last night/this morning, my already long hour and ten minute drive home was lengthened by another 40 minutes because of this
i mean, driving around it was better than being IN a 50 ft wide, 16 ft deep sinkhole...but just barely.

yeah, im on a joseph arthur kick again. seeing a great show inevitably inspires it. check out this great article about ja (thanks uncle george)...apparently michael stipe joined him onstage at his new york show to do 'in the sun'. i was hoping for that to happen at the atlanta show....we were in rem's homestate of georgia afterall. stupid new york hipsters get all the perks.
