after 13 loooooong hours in the car yesterday (without cruise
control) i finally made it to my parents house around 9pm. i only
stopped 3 times (impressive, right?!) i was making great time
until i crossed over into michigan on 75 and traffic came to a complete
stand still.
4 car accident. i about gave up right there. luckily i got thru the
mess in 20ish minutes and hauled ass the rest of the way. its funny
because i know that detroit drivers are bad, but wow, you forget just
how bad until there you are driving down 94 at 70 miles an hour (speed
limit 55) in the middle lane and people zoom past you goin 80+ in the
left AND right lanes. home sweet home.
its strange now to be in
michigan and have it not be cold as hell. the last few visits have
been wintertime visits, so i half expect to walk outside in my short
sleeved shirt and capris and get frostbite.
things im looking
forward to in the next couple weeks: tons of time with the fam,
catching up with my friends,
snow patrol, double trouble b-day bash, thai food from that place in
ferndale-mmmmm hot and sour soup, el charro's botana and avacado cheese
crisp, helping aut with
wedding stuff, IKEA, DSW, urban outfitters, sleeping in a king size
bed, diet vernors, cheering on my friends softball team, cloverleaf
pizza, metro times, not being in fayetteville(tho i will miss chris).
