so i had a good weekend. good weekend. spent saturday in ann arbor shopping and eating yummy food. urban outfitters is a great store. a little pricey, but a great store anyhow. why there isnt one in the detroit metro area is beyond me. of course you could order from the website or the catalog, but id much rather actually shop there. and after the shopping and eating was the poker. we went to the home of co-worker terri's and her husbands house right outside of ann arbor. the cast of characters was me, chris, albert (co-worker), terri, her husband ron, and terris friend julie. 6 of us. long story short, i was the BIG winner of the night, taking home somewhere around 400 bucks. me. a poker player. who knew. at one point i had to risk losing 240 in order to win that much, but obviously it worked out in my favor. when it came down to risking that amount of money, i almost hyperventilated, peed my pants and passed out at the same time. but i didnt, and i won, and now i have all this money. ive got more cash on me now than i have ever before in my life. feels pretty good. but poor chris, its mostly his money, and he still owes me a hundred and forty on top of it.
so i went out shopping a little today, mostly christmas presents, , but i did splurge and got myself some new unmentionables, so i cant mention them here, and 1 new cd. i woulda got more, except i was at best buy and their prices are ridiculous, so i just got one that was somewhat reasonably priced. its the postal service album. feat. ben gibbard from death cab for cutie. love it already. more later....must go to don pablos for buy one get one free fajitas with chris. my treat of course. am
