so yeah, its been a really interesting week. i am officially unemployed. its a long story and if you want the details shoot me an email or give me a call. so what have we learned here? hmmmm....i hate to be negative about it, but it seems to me that hard work, good work and dedication aren't always going to get you where you hope in the so called 'real world'. and that sucks. of course there are good things too...i learned that this is for sure what i want to do with my life. that im actually not bad at this. and i met some good people. a few new friends for life.
so the job search is on. the possibilities are endless. which is really exciting. yeah, a little scary, but definitely exciting. financially ill be ok to take a few months...up to like 6 or so, to take some time and look for the perfect fit. i dont know that i believe that everything happens for a reason, but i know that im gonna be ok. i was done with fayetteville anyhow. i knew this was not going to be anything more than a stepping stone, and after 2 years, it was time.
indulged in a little retail therapy today...nothing too crazy now, im unemployed afterall....
and looking forward to a possible visit home in the next few weeks.... more to come.... and if you know anyone looking for a kick ass hot ac or aaa or alternative personality....

so last week i placed an amazon order for: How We Operate-Gomez Eyes Open-Snow Patrol and Broken Boy Soldiers from those Detroit guys. I was too cheap to pay separate shipping costs, so they're all in transit now from Greensboro. I'm hoping for a delivery today, but tomorrow would be more logical.
Not a whole lot else to report. So many season/series finales, so little time. Thank god for the 2 tivo set up. Or I might actually have to go out and get something that resembles a life.
Looks like we will be going to the June 9th Alltel Pavillion (Raleigh) NIN show. Had to take a vacation day but its so totally worth it.
Off to take a walk before work. I'd love to say run, but you know how I feel about running.

equipped with a green pick, a red guitar, the knowledge of chords d, a, eminor, and g i can almost keep up with dean and luna
today is what all this practice has been about...its clumsy and ugly, but its almost music and im super excited to be able to play one of my all time favorite songs on the guitar
Well they're swapping pharmaceuticals in Mussolini Park And they're wigglin' and wobbilin' and dozin' in the dark And it's winter in New Jersey and it's Christmas in New York With a giggle and a stare and a bottle and a cork And Kristina took your photo with a needle and a spoon But she said we got to hurry cos her dad will be home soon And these superfreaky memories have put me in my place But then my superfreaky memories are gone without a trace
Please excuse my eyes Please excuse my hands Please excuse my eyes Put me in my place
In a dirty little room in a nasty little world You were out of your mind you were throwin' up your hands You were makin' crazy plans left a message on the mirror And your mouth was making words but there was nobody there Now the gears are rolling by and you don't get any wiser And the years are rolling on but you're going round and round And these superfreaky memories have put me in my place But my superfreaky memories are gone without a trace
