im taking a swing at selling some of my cds online via ebay. things i just dont want anymore (or never wanted to begin with and got for free). its so fun that i may just end up selling everything i own, spending hours at the post office shipping all of it, cashing in on my paypal account, and become some sort of nomad. but ill have to nomad my way to somewhere warmer, and pronto! its damn cold here today. but at least the sun is out (which is quite uncommon during cold weather in these parts).
actually selling stuff is pretty time consuming and a bit of a pain in the ass. but ive got nothing better to do, and really, we all can use a little extra cash (especially after a recent 300 dollar car repair). at work we have one of the old-school stand alone centipede arcade games. its totally addictive. i play it for so long that my forearms and wrists start to hurt. the cool thing about it is the learning curve is really small. theres not much to figure out, you can just play it. it takes a little while to get good, and there are some tricks to it, but basically you have to avoid the centipede, the little thing that falls from the sky that makes mushrooms appear and thats it. avoid those things, and shoot at them to make them go away. chris currently holds ALL of the high scores, and everytime i get one of my little akm initals up there he plays until he beats it makes them all him again. its very annoying, but great incentive for me to do less work and play more centipede. this post composed while listening to :the voices in my head.
